How to install your eSIM
Takes about two minutes. Install while you still have internet (before you fly is perfect).
Option A — Scan the QR code
- Open Settings → Cellular (Mobile Service) → Add eSIM
- Choose Use QR Code and scan the code from your email or confirmation page
- Tap Continue and wait for "Cellular Setup Complete"
- Label it (e.g. "Travel") and keep your main line as default for calls/SMS
- Set Cellular Data to the new eSIM when you arrive — and enable Data Roaming for it
Option B — Manual entry
- Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Enter Details Manually
- Paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your confirmation page
Option A — Scan the QR code
- Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM (wording varies by brand)
- Choose Scan QR code and scan the code from your email or confirmation page
- Confirm the download and activation
- When you arrive: select the eSIM for mobile data and enable roaming for it
Option B — Manual entry
- In the Add eSIM screen choose Need help? / Enter it manually
- Paste the activation code (it contains the SM-DP+ address)
Troubleshooting
No signal after landing
Make sure the travel eSIM is selected for mobile data AND data roaming is enabled for it. Then toggle airplane mode once.
Connected but no internet
Check the APN settings sent with your plan; most plans configure automatically, but some Android phones need the APN entered manually.
QR code won't scan
Use manual entry (Option B) — copy the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your confirmation page.
"eSIM cannot be added"
Each eSIM installs only once. If you removed it after installing, contact support — and check your phone is carrier-unlocked.
