Is my phone eSIM-compatible?

Quick check (any phone)

  1. Open your phone's dialer and enter *#06#
  2. If you see an EID number listed, your phone supports eSIM.

⚠ Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. Phones bought on a contract are often locked — check with your carrier.

Apple

iPhone XS / XR and newer (2018+), including all iPhone SE 2020+, iPhone 11–17 series. iPads with cellular from 2018 onward.

Samsung

Galaxy S20 and newer, Note 20, Z Flip / Z Fold series, A54/A55 and newer mid-range models (region dependent).

Google

Pixel 3 and newer (Pixel 3a+ recommended).

Others

Many recent models from Motorola (Razr, Edge), Xiaomi (13+), Huawei (P40+), Oppo, Sony and Fairphone support eSIM. When in doubt, use the *#06# check above — it's definitive.

US-market phones are sometimes carrier-locked even when paid off. If your eSIM won't install, this is the most common cause — see help.
