Is your Samsung Galaxy eSIM-compatible?

Compatible models

Many Galaxy S20 series and newer flagship phones, Galaxy Note20 models, Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models, and selected A-series phones support eSIM. Support varies by model, country and carrier, so check Samsung’s specifications for your exact device.

Check carrier unlock

Carrier-sold Galaxy phones may be locked. Confirm with your carrier that the device is unlocked and can use another operator’s eSIM.

Check mobile data settings

In Settings → Connections → SIM manager, select the travel eSIM for mobile data. Enable Data Roaming for that eSIM when required by the plan.

If installation fails

Use Wi-Fi, check the device is unlocked and confirm the QR code has not already been used. If data does not work at your destination, recheck SIM manager, roaming and Airplane Mode.
