Is your Google Pixel eSIM-compatible?

Compatible models

Google Pixel 3a and newer Pixel phones support eSIM in supported regions and carrier configurations. Some Pixel 3 models also support eSIM. Check Google’s specifications for your exact model and country.

Check carrier unlock

A Pixel bought from a carrier may be SIM-locked. Check the carrier’s unlock policy and confirm that another SIM or eSIM can be used before buying.

Check mobile data settings

In Settings → Network & internet → SIMs, select the travel eSIM for mobile data. Enable roaming for that line when the plan requires it.

If installation fails

Install over Wi-Fi, check that the phone is unlocked and confirm the eSIM has not been installed before. For no service, reselect the travel SIM for data, check roaming and toggle Airplane Mode once.
